How to do the Chair Eagle Pose
- Sit tall near the front of a sturdy chair with your feet flat on the floor.
- Cross one thigh over the other and, if you can, hook your top foot behind your lower calf.
- Cross the opposite arm under the other at the elbows and bring your palms or the backs of your hands together.
- Lift your elbows to shoulder height and breathe, then unwind and switch sides.
Tips
- Lift your elbows and draw them gently away from your face to feel your upper back.
Adjustments
- Simply cross your thighs and hug your shoulders if the full wrap feels like too much.
