How to do the Seated Cat-Cow
- Sit tall near the front of a sturdy chair with your feet flat on the floor and your hands resting on your knees.
- Inhale as you arch your back, lift your chest forward, and gently draw your shoulders back.
- Exhale as you round your spine, tuck your chin, and draw your belly toward your back.
- Keep flowing between the two shapes in rhythm with your breath.
Tips
- Let your breath lead the movement rather than rushing through it.
Adjustments
- Keep your head more neutral if your neck prefers a smaller range of motion.
