How to do the Seated Knee-to-Chest Stretch
- Sit tall near the front of a sturdy chair with your feet flat on the floor.
- Lift one knee and wrap your hands around your shin or the back of your thigh.
- Gently hug the knee toward your chest while keeping your back tall.
- Hold for a few breaths, then lower the foot and switch sides.
Tips
- Bring your knee toward your chest rather than rounding down to meet it.
Adjustments
- Hold behind your thigh instead of your shin if your knee feels tight.
